Why are all organs are in the alimentary canal important in digesting food

    The organs in the alimentary canal are important to digestion because they work together to move food and waste through the body. Without them, food wouldn't be able to move to their correct organs to digest and provide nutrients & energy, and waste would not be able to get out of the body.
