The specific heat of a solution is 2.14 J/g°C. if you heated 23 grams of the solution and the temperature changed from 6°C to 24°C. How many Joules of heat would it produce?

    2.14 = C° which is the specific Heat

    23 = mass

    6 to 24 = is temperature change

    So,

    q = (23) (2.14) (24-6)

    q = (23) (2.14) (18)

    q = 885.96 Joules of heat that was produced.
