An analysis for copper was performed on two pure solids. One solid was found to contain 43.0% copper; the other contained 32.0% copper. Could these solids be samples of the same copper-containing compound

    No, these sample could no be same

    Explanation:

    Percentage of copper in both sample are different means both are taken from different sample because if we says both are from same sample then its violates the law of definite proportion

    according to this law a given compound always contains same proportion of element by mass and it does not depend on the source

    eg: water from sea and drainage both have same composition means same amount of oxygen and hydrogen by mass is present

    Hence given samples are not same
