Calculate the number of moles of Barium hydroxide, Ba (OH) 2, present in a 100.0 g sample.

    We know that M = m / n, so we can get n Ba (OH) 2=m/M

    M=137+2.16+2.1=171

    m=100g

    n Ba (OH) 2=m/M=100/171=0.58 mole
