Covalent bonds are in the air you breathe and the water you drink. How are covalent bonds formed?

    Covalent bonds happens when pairs of electrons are shared by atoms. Sharing the electrons will covalently bond the atoms so that they will gain more stability which is achieved by forming a full electron shell. Hope this answers the question.
