How there can be more heat energy in a iceberg then in a pot of boiling water

    Heat energy is the result of movement of tiny particles like atoms, molecules, or ions (solids, liquids, gas).

    The size of the iceberg ranges from 1 to 75 metres and its weight ranges from 100,000 to 200,000 metric tonnes.

    Because an iceberg is larger than a pot of boiling water, the iceberg contains more tiny particles that moves within it than a pot of boiling water. Therefore, more heat energy is generated within the iceberg as compare to a pot of boiling water.
