What is the definition of an element (periodic table elements) ?

    The modern peridoic table was brought up by moseley, which was based upon the listing of atomic numbers. Periodicity means repitition of elements at equal intervals of time. In the periodic table, the properties of elements change after every 7 elements. The horizontal rows represent periods and vertical ones' are called groups.
