Why are the chemical shapes of lipids difference between saturated and unsaturated fats?

    The difference in chemical shapes between the saturated and unsaturated lipids is due to the fact that, the saturated lipids have single bonds while the unsaturated lipids have double bond, this result in difference in their geometry.
