What volume of 10M stock solution of HCL is needed to make 500 ml of. 100 M solution for an experiment?

    So you'll use the formula M1V1 = M2V2

    M1 = 10 M

    V1 = unknown

    M2 = 0.100 M

    V2 = 500ml

    Plug everything in where it belongs and you should get 5ml, but just watch your significant figures.
