The statement, "The hormones released due to stress lead to the increased risk of pregnancy", is incorrect. Studies have shown that stress hormones reduce the risk of pregnancy. Cortisol and adrenaline are the two stress hormones which are secreted by the body during times of stress. These hormones induce the "fight or flight" response. Stress in all forms is bad for our health and wellbeing. Body aches and nausea are signs of emotional stress while high blood pressure is a physical response to stress.
