Childrens chewable Tylenol contains 80. mg of acetaminophen per tablet. If the recommended dosage is 10. mg/kg, calculate the number of tablets needed for a 70.-Ib child.

    2.2 pounds in a kilogram.

    70/2.2 = 31.818 kg of the child.

    10mg/kg and the tylenol is 80 mg per tables.

    Child should take 318.18 mg divide that by per tablet 318.18/80 = 3.977 tablets.

    We are using 1 sig fig, so that would make our answer be 4 tablets.
