Evaporation can be defined as the process where liquid water is transformed into gasous state. Evaporation can occur when water is avaliable. Transpirtation is the process of water loss from plants through the stomata. Stomata are small openings found on the underside of leaves.

Therefore Transpiration is faster than evaporation.
