    Moles Fe = 6.25 g / 55.847 g/mol=0.112

    mass O = 8.15 - 6.25 = 1.90 g

    moles O = 1.90 g / 15.999 g/mol=0.119

the ratio is 1 : 1 and the compound is FeO (iron (II) oxide)
