Explain why crushing a can is physical change and not chemical

    It's not a chemical change because the crushing of a can does not mean the can transform from one substance to another. The can is crushable is a characteristic that can be described to identify a substance. Also, the chemical composition of the can does not change when you crush it, That's why it's not a chemical change.
