Two similar sunflowers are grown side by side in clay pots. Both are planted in the same amount of identical soil and receive the same amount of sunlight. However, one sunflower plant is given more water than the other. What is the dependent variable in this experiment?

    The dependant variable could be the rate of growth or Photosynthesis, whatever is being effected by the variation in water suply.
