Assume that a section of double stranded DNA contains 100 base pairs. if 40 of the pairs contain baseC how many of the pairs would contain base A?

    60 pairs, because A and T are pairs, and C and G are pairs, and since there are only 2 different pairs, they both have to add up tobe 100, so 100-40=60
