How much power does it take to lift 250 N, 40 m high in 2 seconds

    Power = force * distance / time

    the force is 250 Newton and time is 2 seconds

    distance is 40 meters

    power = 250N * 40m / 2s

    power = 5000 (Nm/s)

    Newton-meter per second is equal to a Watt so

    power = 5000W
