The molar mass of glucose is 180.1548 grams and that of carbon dioxide is 44.01 grams. calculate the mass in grams of CO2 required for this amount of glucose

    To produce glucose from carbon dioxide, 6 moles of carbon dioxide are required per mole of glucose.

    Mass of carbon dioxide required:

    6 x 44.01

    = 264.06 grams
