What is the ratio of Sr2 + ions to Br - ions in a neutral compound

    Neutral = > positive charge = negative charge

    Sr 2 + - - > 2 positive charge

    Br - - - > 1 negative charge = > you need two Br

    2 Br - - - > 2 negative charge

    Then, the ratio is 1 Sr2 + ion to 2 Br - ions = 1Sr2 + / 2Br - = 1/2
