The specific heat of water is 4.18 J/g•°C. How much heat does 225.0 g of water release when it cools from 85.5°C to 50.0°C?

    Water releases 33,387.75 J/g °c. The equation to use is q=mc (change in) t and then plug and chug. X = (225) (4.18) (35.5) is it in the equation then multiply it together and you the get the answer of 33,387.75 as your answer.
