    When pennies are stacked, the shape they forms would be a cylinder. The volume of a cylinder is calculated as follows:

    V = pi (r^2) h

    V = pi (0.91 cm) ^2 (0.72 cm)

    V = 1.873 cm^3 (1 mL / 1cm^3)

    V = 0.873 mL
