    Following is the trend of electron affinity, from most positive to most negative EA value:

    Iodine > Oxygen > Phosphorous > Argon > Sodium

    Herein, iodine have maximum electron affinity, while sodium has minimum electron affinity. In general electron affinity value increases as we move from left to right in periodic table.
