Most cats have retractable claws; not so in dogs. Cats have 30 teeth; dogs have 42. Cats are strict/obligate carnivores; dogs are primary carnivores, but can survive on plant materials (key word being survive). Cats capture prey by surprise; dogs chase prey down. Cats have a longer memory than dogs.
