What element was used to make the first atomic bomb

    The element was uranium, it was made during World War II (the first atomic bomb was dropped on Japan, Hiroshima)

    For more information, a H-bomb (Hydrogen bomb) is more explosive (the sun is made mostly by Hydrogen) and North Korea declared that they just have one.
