    When we say redox reaction, the total number of electrons lost is equal to the total number of electrons gained. Redox is a combination of the Oxidation which refers to the loss of electrons from a substance and Reduction is the gain of electrons by the substance. So I think the balanced equation is letter b. The answer is H2CO3 - > H2O + CO2
