How does concentration affect the rate of reaction?

    Concentration is basically the strength of a solution. A solution is made up of a solute and solvent. If you increase the amount of solute in that solvent you increase the concentration. Therefore you have more solute particles which increases the chances for a chemical reaction. Which in return affects the rate of reaction.
