Why do cars tires need more air in the winter then in the summer?

    Cars need more tire in the winter because of the low temperature which results to a lower pressure as well. This is base on the ideal gas equation where PV = nRT. Volume, number of moles and R are constant values. Pressure and Temperature has a direct relationship.
