Each mole of the sodium hydrogen carbonate will release one more of carbon dioxide.

    Moles of NaHCO₃ = 2 / (23 + 1 + 12 + 16 x 3)

    Moles of NaHCO₃ = 0.024

Moles of carbon dioxide released = 0.024
