Calculate the mass of solid ammonium chloride required to mix with 100 ml of 1.0m ammonia to prepare a 9.25 ph buffer

    Given:

    Volume of base = 100 mL

    Concentration of base = 1.0 m

    pkb of ammonia = 4.75

    ph of buffer = 9.25

    pOH = pkb + log [salt]/[base]

    = 4.75 + log[salt]/[1.0m]

    calculate for the pOH.

    pH = 14 - pOH
