Why does catalase activity slow down with higher concentrations of H2O2?

    Higher concentrations of H2O2 saturate the active sites of the enzyme and the reaction will slow down as there are not enough enzymes to carry out the rate of reaction at an increased level. Increasing the amount of Catalase will increase the rate of reaction again.
