What happens if the amount of energy that is absorbed by the reactants I less than the activation energy

    Activation energy is the energy required to allow the reaction to occur. It is an important parameter in determining reaction rates. When the amount of energy absorbed by the reactants is less than the activation energy then most likely a chemical reaction will not happen.
