There are a number of factors that could affect the motion of an object. An object's motion is affected by the initial speed and acceleration and the forces that interact with it. The most obvious force is the gravitational force. Hope this answers the question. Have a nice day.

Answer : There are many factors which affect an object's motion like gravity, friction and change in mass of an object.

Gravity - Gravitational force is a natural phenomena. Where a mass on any object exerts a gravitational pull on every other mass of an objects. The size of the pull completely depends on the masses of the objects. So, it can affect an object's motion.

Friction - There are many types of friction that can affect an object's motion. Friction is a force which is resistant to relative motions of an object.

Change in mass - The mass of an object plays and important role in deciding the motion of the object; greater the mass of an object, the stronger a force must be applied to it, to accelerate it or to change its motion. The mass of any object, only affects its motion through the inertia.
