What is the nitrogen cycle? What parts do plants play in it?

    The nitrogen cycle is the biogeochemical cycle by which nitrogen is converted into various chemical forms. p lants consume nitrogen in the form of nitrates. nitrogen gets converted into nitrates by the denitrifying bacteria, then these plants absorb nitrogen in the form of nitrates through the groundwater, then consumed by the animals as food.
