Lead has a density of 11.3 grams/cm cubed. What mass of lead will fit in a 20 cm cubed container?

    Use the formula

    D=M/V

    Density = Mass divided by Volume

    11.3=M/20

    You need to get x by itself so you multiply both sides of the equation by 20.

    11.3 (20) = M/20 (20)

    226=M

    So 226 grams of lead will fit in a 20 cm cubed container.
