Meaning of natural transmutation

Natural transmutation is translated from the radioactive capacity of an element. It is a process where the number of protons of a naturally radioactive element changes by releasing either alpha, beta, or positron particles. Radioactive elements are generally those who are placed after the uranium elememt - hence also called transuranium elements.
