    One way to do this:

    If 5 beans have a mass of 2.1 gms then each bean is 2.1 : 5 =.42g

0.454kg is the same as 454 g. So how many. 42 are in 454

    454 :.42 ≈ 1080.95 beans or 1081 rounded to the nearest bean.
