We are given with the amounts of reactants to be used for the reaction given the chemical reaction of 4Al + 3O2 = 2Al2O3. We determine the limiting reactant between the two. Aluminum is 1.6/4 and oxygen is 1.5/3. The limiting reactant is aluminum. hence, we use this as basis of data, The aluminum oxide produced is 1.6 * (2/4) equal to 0.8 moles.
