Hydrogen peroxide is a harmful by-product of normal metabolic activity. In order to prevent damage, hydrogen peroxide must be broken down into water and oxygen quickly. What would speed up the decomposition of hydrogen peroxide

    Applying heat or raising the temperature of the solution would speed up the decomposition of hydrogen peroxide. It is shown in the table of heats of solution that the enthalpy of decomposition is positive, meaning that it requires more heat for the solution to be separated.
