Carbon dioxide is a colorless, odorless gas, why is it considered a pollutant?

    Carbon dioxide is considered a pollutant because simply, it can cause global warming. On the other hand, CO2 increases the acidity of some bodies of water because CO2 will convert to carbonic acid it reacts with water.
