It is important for scientists to utilize the scientific method (to the extent of applying this in everyday life). Generally, the basic steps of scientific method are: making observations, preparing a hypothesis, designing an experiment, analyzing results, and to finally make a conclusion. This means that if a scientist makes an observation that is quite unnatural to what he currently knows, it is important for him to question existing ideas and propose a new hypothesis. And to find the answer to his question, he must think creatively to design experiment and be able to scrutinize his/her own observations. From this, we can see that from the choices, all must hold true except for B.
