Identify: explain why the moon can be seen from the earth

    I believe it is because, first of all, there is a gravitational pull between the moon and the earth. This keeps it from floating off. Second of all, The light of the moon is coming from the sun, which brightens it so we can see it from earth. Forgive me if I am wrong.
