How many moles if chlorine gas are required to produce 0.178 moles of sodium chloride

    Solution:

    1 moleof NaCl = 1 mole of Cl2 gas

    0.178moles=xmole

    now; 0.178*1:1=0.178moles

    therefore chlorine will required 0.178 moles in order to produce sodium chloride.
