    Cobalt is Co, Carbon is C, and Oxygen is O. It can't be cobalt, because the O is uppercase, meaning it's carbon and oxygen respectively.

    And also, because of the subscript 2 underneath oxygen, we can tell there are two of them. This means that there are two oxygen atoms, and only one carbon atom.
