    Option B. The specific heat of a gas may be measured at constant pressure.

    Option A and C are opposite to the fact that the liquids and solids exhibit different specific heats at different temperatures. Option C is too restritive, indeed specific heat of a gas may be measured at constant volume but also at constant pressure. That is why option B is the accurate one.
