The Olympic record time for running the endurance event was 4 hours and 40 minutes. Amanda

recently broke that record, running a time of 3 hours and 20 minutes.

What fraction of the original record time was Amanda's time?

    Just convert it into minutes, so the record was 4 hours 40 mins - > 280min

    3 hours 20 - > 200 min

    so the fraction is 200/280, which is 5/7
