Defend or critique the following statement, using supporting evidence: "Getting to work early on your first day at a new job is the best way to impress your boss."

    Just because you get to work early on the first day does not in anyway mean you impress your boss, not from my experience, maybe if you show up early on a consistent bases then maybe, but you will more often than not have to do extra things where you work to impress your boss, or if you work in an office, maybe writing things the best you can consistently may impress your boss, though i'm not sure since I work in a car garage, not an office. Though I highly doubt if you work in an office, just because you show up to work early on your first day you'll impress your boss.
