Are "Single inline memory modules (SIMM) " different from "Single-sided RAM"? If so, how are they different?

    SIMM is only the kind of memory RAM, in this case, we can make a difference between DIMM and SIMM.

    DIMM Dual in-line memory module. SIMM Single In-line Memory Module.

    DIMM is better than SIMM because we can communicate with the cache to 72 bits, with SIMM only to 32 bits.

    We can see a physical difference because SIMM only has pins in one side, and DIMM has the pins on both sides.
