    Explanation:

    Windows remote assistant is a tool in windows operating system that is used to remotely assist users. It is different from the windows remote desktop connection as it requires the permission of the user who must have remotely invited the host. The user grants partial permission to the invited host and monitors it's activities.

    The windows remote desktop connection connects remotely to other computers to a known user or administrator account with full access, preventing the user from seeing it's activities.

    The person accessing the computer remotely is using the user's permission. The logged in user will have to grant the IT professional permission to access the computer. The IT professional with remote access will have full control of the user's computer.
