What are at least two similarities and two differences between IPv4 and IPv6?

Similarities between the Internet protocol version 6 (IPv6) and internet protocol version 4 (IPv4) are as follows:-

IPv6 and IPv4 are base on the internet protocol (IP) system and functioning. The mode of process is packet switching for both the protocols Both the protocols are not connection-oriented

Differences between the IPv4 and IPv6 are as follows:-

IPv4 displays the binary values in the form of decimal while IPv6 displays hexadecimal binary values IPv4 has 32 bit address and IPv6 has 128 bit address IPv4 has no encryption mechanism but IPv6 has encryption feature. Security is dependent on the application in IPv4 whereas IPv6 has in-built security feature.
