    The following problems are encountered in following traditional methods to system development:

    Low or no productivity as a result of connection lack between customers and engineers during the development process. Another major reason is the high cost of the traditional methods and most of the time the the features developed using these methods may not be the requirement of the customer resulting in wastage of the budget. These methods are difficult to modify and make changes to them as these are very rigid and if the changes are introduced then also the process is quite costly that will lead to wastage of resources and money. In the development phase, these processes require a lot of approvals from management side thus leading to delays. These methods are all in all inefficient, rigid, not flexible, results in delays, unproductive and lacks transparency.
